Hello friends! I don’t know if you are aware of this, but I was selected this year to be a guest contributor on The House of Wood, a blog by the ultra-talented Jen Woodhouse. I have admired Jen’s work for many years and she is such an inspiration, so I am thrilled to be able to work with her. My first contributor post was a tutorial on how to build some DIY Decorative Wooden Bookends using a scroll saw and some inexpensive pine! Head on over to her site and check out the DIY bookends tutorial! These were so fun to make!
Be sure not to miss the tutorial! Also be sure to check out Jen’s entire site because she has some really amazing tutorials on all sorts of awesome furniture and home decor. She’s even branching into recipes! I can’t wait to see what recipes she shares.

Sheri has been creating all of her life in various ways and finds great purpose and empowerment in creating something new. When she’s not in the workshop or craft room she is making memories with her husband, four kids, perfect dog and ornery cat.
This looks like a great project Sheri! So well styled with the book selection.
