Super Easy and Quick Crochet Chunky Scarf FREE Pattern
These chunky scarves are one of my favorite things to make, they come together so quickly and look fabulous with any winter coat. As you can see, I have made them in many different colors and sizes, and the pattern is crazy easy. It’s not even a pattern really, just one stitch.

Here is a link to the yarn that I used for all of these scarves. (affiliate link) Lion Brand Thick & Quick Yarn The pattern linked below is written using this exact yarn. You can absolutely make this scarf using different yarn, but please be aware that you may need to buy a different number of skeins if your chosen yarn doesn’t come in the same length or weight. A good rule of thumb for me is to buy an extra skein or two if I think it will be close…it’s always possible to return extras to the store, or better yet, make something else!

Will 1 skein of yarn make 1 scarf? How long did you make your double crochet foundation chain? How do you make and attach fringes? Thanks! Robin.

I love this scarf. What size hook did you use and did it only take one skein of yarn?

I understand that, time is always too short.
These ruffle scarfs are gorg and so snug. It’s summer here now but will have to let me mom-in-law make me one for next fall and winter. Thanks for sharing.#TwinklyTuesday
