Today I’m going to show you how I made these beautiful and festive DIY Autumn Leaf Napkin Rings!

HOW TO MAKE LEAF NAPKIN RINGS:
SUPPLIES:
- FastCast Urethane Casting Resin
- Vinyl Gloves
- Disposable Measuring Cups
- Wooden Stir Sticks
- Paint (optional)
- Autumn Leaf Mold (tutorial HERE)
Prepare your supplies. Be sure you have gloves and a clean workspace covered with paper or something disposable in case you spill.
Remember, you will need to work very quickly with FastCast because it begins curing within a couple minutes.
Pour 1/3 oz. of Part A FastCast into your disposable measuring cup.
Quickly add the exact same amount of Part B FastCast.
Mix the two parts together quickly, then pour the mixture into a second cup.
Mix thoroughly again with a clean stir stick. You need to mix in the second clean cup, known as the “two cup method”, to ensure everything is adequately mixed and it will cure without any soft spots.
Finally, pour the mixture into the leaf mold that you made. (the tutorial for making the mold can be found HERE.)
Let the FastCast leaf cure for 10-15 minutes. It will turn off-white as it cures.
You can tell it is cured it if is completely hardened with no stickiness.
Once the replica is cured, remove it from the mold. Repeat this process as many times as you need until you have the right number of leaf shapes!
Feel free to paint these or leave them the color that they are. I painted mine metallic pearl just for a little shimmer.
As the last step, super glue the new leaf replicas to each napkin ring and let the glue dry.
