DIY Wood Designs using a Router

Hey friends! I have some cute wood designs to share with you today!

A few weeks ago Milescraft asked me to use their Design/Inlay Kit 1207 to create some wood designs and projects. Having never used this tool before this request, I trusted that the kit would be easy to use. Most of the Milescraft products I had used to this point were, and I was not disappointed!

With this template kit I created some really great wood designs! Some were from the manual they sent with the kit, and others were designs I made up on my own.

Also, if you’re in the market for a router, I absolutely recommend mine. For me, it is the perfect size and easy to maneuver as needed. I especially recommend it for women as it’s easier for our sometimes smaller hands to grip. It works really well for all the applications I’ve tried it on, though may not be great for heavy duty work. It comes with an awesome plunge system which is necessary to do these wood designs, and really, I just love it. Here is a link if you want one too. The template system works similarly to a spirograph type toy. Make sure to check out there website and watch the video on how to use it.
